Upgrades

I dreampt that people had little aliens in them like the Arquilian from the movie Men in Black.  Only in the movie the alien was in a robot and in my dream they were inside of people.  You had to cover your hair with conditioner and then stick your head to the operating table before they could start. Also they just had one doctor but lots of people who needed aliens to be implanted so the tables were in a circle and the doctor just ran around a lot. 

I dreampt my grandparents house had a toilet in the shower so you could use the shower faucet as the sink or you could use the toilet but you had to climb into the shower stall for any of it. I wanted to use the toilet but the water was on. Instead of knobs to adjust the water you had to push these buttons but they weren't labeled.  You had to push the buttons in a certain order to have different combinations of the taps on

I dreampt a friend and I were shopping for a car with a manual transmission.

Also I stopped for coffee several times at different stores but it was always the same barista.

Later I had an oddly ominous dream about a friend walking in the rain.

Doll Baby

I dreampt I did storytime in the basement of my parents house.  The room was really full and a man told me that 88 people were there.  Every time I tried to sing a song the stereo would start to play.  A lady from another library was there helping me but she didn't know what was wrong.  Sometimes the song was in another language.  I remember specifically that we tried to sing The Green Grass Grew All Around and the Sleeping Bag Chant. Every time I turned to the stereo and back to the group there were fewer people but it also seemed like they were taking their seats with them.  At the beginning of the dream we faced the stairs but by the end we had all turned around had our backs to the stairs and the stereo was in a cabinet under the counter.  I could see all these power strips and I got so mad that the stereo was on that i just tried turning all the power strips off. I left one on because i thought it was the wireless for the library.  I know the other staff and I discussed calling a manager but the name we used was for someone that wasn't in IT but instead from cataloging so that didn't make a lot of sense. At one point I could see a doll changing the stereo and it was a ghost doll and she had been changing the songs, making them faster and choosing languages I don't know.  I don't know if the doll belong at the house since I had never seen it before.  I don't think any of the storytime kids brought the doll either.  I remember that the doll had brown almost black hair and not clothes. 

Dog Days

I dreampt about a region in China with many bridges and they were all guarded by golden retrievers in robes and hats who sat on couches. Once a year they had a big festival for the dogs and there was 996 all together.  Nearly all the dogs were older, there weren't any puppies.

I had a terrible nightmare - I was watching a man in a bathroom attack his left hand with a hammer he held in his right hand. He beat his hand to a pulp and then worked his way up the arm destroying the limb. As I watched the bathroom became drenched in blood as the hammer flung spray on the walls. He was screaming and I first I thought it was just that he was in pain, surely thats enough but I realized something was making him attack his own hand and it wasn't him wanting to hurt himself. Suddenly everything stopped and the bathroom reset itself and went back to normal and the limb was back to normal too.

Learned Astronomer

Man from America and also the future was trapped in England's past. He was working with an astronomer who liked bikes but then the astronomer was killed so the American took over the job. The astronomer was in hiding but while he had left his home, really he lived in his shop. Three boys tried to steal a bike with his laptop still attached and the bike was broken several times. The police found out and came to the shop. A woman who once loved the astronomer and as unusually tall man questioned the American. They took the American man away even though he wasn't in trouble and they didn't know how to help him. The Astronomer took lots of pictures of the sky and stars but he did it by moving backwards. He said they was easier to follow that way. England was cold and all the leaves had beautiful edges of frost but no one took any pictures of that.

Late for dinner

I dreampt I was having friends over for dinner.  I was making mac and cheese but i had it in the drawer under the oven where the pans go so I don't know how it was getting cooked.   I found a hair in the dish so I went upstairs to sleep but a friend was in my bed watching tv. Somehow that day I ruined two pairs of shorts or really it was the same pair of shorts but I ruined them twice.  I think the inside of the house was the house I am in now but the outside of the house was decorated with large glass blocks that were hollow and each one had a miniature garden inside. 

I also dreampt I was hosting anime club at the library and my teens pretended to be cats and tore down all the paper streamers the room was decorated with.

I dreampt that Lady Gaga was a beautiful princess in a long white dress.  She left her castle to read by the sea.  Her dress had a long train that she spread out on the sand all around her.  While she read a baby unicorn came to her and lay down on her train.  Lady Gaga took the unicorn home to her castle where she lived with a sleeping prince who was Eddie Redmayne.  He slept in a glass case like Snow White but Lady Gaga never woke him up.

I dreampt we were driving on a road in the woods and the woods were very dark and green and wet.  We passed a long yellow metal staircase that went up a hill but it was abandoned and no one used it.  We got to a staircase that was really a ladder and the ladder was made of string and straws.  We carried our bikes up the ladder but it was very steep the ladder kept bending.  We got to a platform that was nearly to the top and i saw a string that I pulled and the ladder fell down from the top platform.  Another friend ran around another way to try and help us but then I woke up.

I dreampt a man, a woman and a child told me a story about three haunted buildings and how the haunting at each were connected. In my dream I walked by three buildings that were empty and surrounded by chain link fence.  I think they used to be part of a collect campus.  I realized that the family I met each of them was the spirit for one of the buildings.

I dreampt I got a participation medal for playing field hockey and later I dreampt I was at a field hockey camp. At one point I was late for practice because I went to a garden center and there was a snake under the bench I was sitting on.

I dreampt I was at my old apartment complex in Miamisburg and that I lived on the ground floor and not the third floor.  I had a sliding glass door onto a patio and one day I went out the front door, leaving the patio door wide open.  I didn't notice at first when I got home but then I realized that the air conditioning or the heat had been on all day. I found the open door and as I was closing it I saw that wasps or hornets had made a big round nest in the corner and also a long tube like nest all along my tv.

I was on vacation with my family in another  country.  We ate at a theme restaurant and visited a historical site built in the same time person.  Not the Ren fest but that idea.  They were doing a laser show with many colors and they had to aim the lasers through these holes in a portrait to make a really big portrait on the side of a building.  the man in the picture had a big black ring around his eye and so did one of them men aiming the lasers.  This was a big political statement.  We were going to stay and pretend like it was no big deal and we had to leave because it was raining.  The guys said it would take a long time to get all the lasers up to finish the picture anyway. We had to hide out in a monastery and some of my family had to use scuba gear to go down a hole filled with water to retrieve an ancient book.  I didn't want to go and i stayed but they wanted to kick me out so they asked me a lot of questions.  The guy was from the North but he asked me where i was from and I said the North because I didn't know what else to say.  I told him the book wasn't translated properly but this is something I got from watching Stargate SG1.  I told him the book wasn't lost it was made lost by those that wanted to hide it. at the end of the day i realized my family used the scuba gear to escape.  after i was interrogated they told me i could leave but i didn't know where to go but i knew it was alone and they thought i had the book they wanted. 

Survival camp

I dreampt it was this dystopian world and all the people were in survival training.  This girl had to get  a bag hanging in a tree that was full of food and she wasn't good at at it so she brought this portable stove.  The teacher complained but girl showed how someone else had used a lantern in another challenge.  I think the first girl make the stove.  She used it to cook the food in the bag and when the food was done cooking the whole bag fell down, maybe the rope holding it was burned?  There was a camp nearby of mostly women and they were trying to get these nightgown/shirts (it was a really long shirt like a pool cover up) off the fence that separated the camp from the survival training. The shirt meant you had passed your training I think.  The guard threw some of the shirts on the fence to try to get people to come close and steal the shirts.  The guards hoped to catch people at the fence but while they were doing this the campers were stealing things from the guard cars. things got really bad and even people who had never been trained had to take the test and they were really scared.  One guy had only ever been in charge of all the video cameras and he knew he couldn't pass.  The guy found a way to go to sleep and wake up in a movie so he dreamed himself into Beetlejuice to hide.

I dreamt I was walking Hubbell in our apartment complex in Franklin.  We me a black and white dog that was running loose but had a collar.  The dogs tags had all sorts of weird information on them like disconnected phone numbers. It was hard to track down the owner.  The dog had first been registered in 1923 so we didn't think the owner was alive anymore. We took the dog to mom's house and she saw that the dog had a lump on its back near the tail.  We thought it was a tumor but when we touched it the lump disappeared and left a hole in the dog's back. You could look through the hole and see right down the to the floor as if the dog had no organs but you could see his bones. Then the dog turned into a puppy and friends from our running group came over to meet him.  I do remember taking the dog for a ride in my Oldsmobile around the neighborhood at mom's house.  Also when the dog turned into a puppy he wasn't black and white anymore he was just black and of course much smaller. In my dream it was like I knew that the dog was getting younger but I didn't believe it until he was totally a puppy.
